Ice jam, a unique hydrological phenomenon of rivers in cold regions, is major cause ice flooding. There are many different kinds damage that can result from jams: e.g., blockage the water flow, rising levels flood farmland and dwellings, to hydraulic structures, interruptions shipping. The formation an jam influenced by various factors associated with fields study. accumulation thus complex process worth investigating. However, previous studies seldom take account discharge factors.
